Secretary General

As the apex of the TIGGS MUN Secretariat, the Secretary General provides visionary leadership and orchestrates all facets of the conference. This pivotal role entails meticulous coordination of the conference schedule, comprehensive management of the Secretariat team, and strategic delegation of responsibilities. The Secretary General also bears the crucial responsibility of staffing key roles and crafting the impactful opening and closing ceremonies, ensuring a seamless and premier MUN experience for all participants.

Under Secretary General (Operations)

The Under Secretary General for Operations is instrumental in ensuring the smooth logistical execution of TIGGS MUN. This crucial role involves overseeing all operational aspects, including venue management, committee room allocation, technical support, delegate registration and support, and the efficient management of all conference resources. The USG for Operations is the linchpin of the conference's functionality, guaranteeing a seamless and productive experience for all delegates and staff.

Qualifications & Experience: Proven leadership abilities, exceptional organizational and communication skills, prior experience in senior roles within MUN Secretariats, strong delegation and team management capabilities, and adeptness in public speaking and ceremonial protocol.

Qualifications & Experience: Demonstrated experience in event management and logistics, exceptional hands on experience of online conference tools like Zoom etc. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure, and effective communication and coordination abilities. Familiarity with MUN conference operations is highly desirable.

Under Secretary General (Marketing & Finance

The Under Secretary General for Marketing & Finance spearheads the strategic outreach and financial stewardship of TIGGS MUN. This vital role encompasses developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies to attract delegates, managing the conference budget, securing and nurturing partnerships, overseeing registration fees and financial transactions, and ensuring the fiscal sustainability of the event. The USG for Marketing & Finance is key to the conference's visibility and financial viability.

Qualifications & Experience: Proven experience in marketing, communications, and/or fundraising, strong financial management and budgeting skills, excellent interpersonal and negotiation abilities, creativity in outreach strategies, and experience with sponsorship acquisition and financial record-keeping.

Under Secretary General (Advocacy)

The Under Secretary General for Advocacy champions the substantive and educational mission of TIGGS MUN. This crucial role involves developing the conference's thematic focus, overseeing the creation of high-quality background guides and research materials, coordinating with committee directors on substantive content, and ensuring the intellectual rigor and educational value of the debates. The USG for Advocacy is pivotal in shaping the core academic experience of the conference.

Qualifications & Experience: Strong academic background with excellent research and writing skills, a deep understanding of international relations and global issues, prior experience in substantive roles within MUN conferences (e.g., Committee Director), ability to develop engaging educational content, and strong communication and coordination skills.

Qualifications & Experience: Proven experience in marketing, communications, and/or fundraising, strong financial management and budgeting skills, excellent interpersonal and negotiation abilities, creativity in outreach strategies, and experience with sponsorship acquisition and financial record-keeping.
